Hey, long time no see!
I've been working on my Diploma Thesis since November (and still am), so I haven't had much time to work on Hexxagon DS. For Hexxagon, Menus are complete, all I have to do ist to finish the Board Editor and make a few changes (read: "rewrite") to the Game Engine due to many changes on the Core Functions. If I - on top of that - can find a few _good_ audio samples for ingame sound, I think Hexxagon DS will be complete.
Now, back to topic.
I recently found out about Patrick Aalto's x86 Emulator for the NDS and went straight for my old Pentium 200 computer on the attic to get my old DOS games. NOTHING beats playing Commander Keen on train to university :D
For my new project, DSx86Cfg allows to configure DSx86Cfg directly from inside the emulator (it is a DOS program). So no need for putting your SD Card into your PC or hacking the INI manually. Grab it from Google Code on the right, comments, suggestions or contributions (send me a patch if you found a bug or created some cool feature and i'll review) appreciated.
So long, back to writing (only 2 weeks left o_O)

Hello, well for the return =D, it hears and you were continuing with the project supaplex:D
ReplyDeleteThat I die of desire to play
Unfortunately (from my point of view, that is ^_^) Patrick has done some great work on his X86 emulator, so Supaplex has already become playable on the NDS. I will decide whether to continue or drop SupaplexDS once I finish
ReplyDeleteHexxagon. In the meantime I suggest you get the DOS version of Supaplex and play it on DSx86 :-)
