An langatmiger Langeweile nicht zu überbieten. Da gibt es die Möglichkeit tolle Geschichten zu erzählen und was macht die Mutter von Dave Grohl daraus? Absolut nichts. Es ist die Hölle. Ich konnte kein Kapitel zu Ende lesen, es war langweiliger als ein Rosamunde Pilcher Roman. Eine Frechheit.
Die Frau ist Lehrerin - und das merkt man beim Lesen. In einer Mischung aus Plauderton und Klatsch arbeitet sie sich durch verschiedene Biographien...Nach Nr. 3 war ich so gelangweilt, dass ich nicht mehr weiterlas.
Virginia Hanlon Grohl's writing honors the reflections of the mothers in a relatively small sorority of "rock star moms." Her clear voice and vision resonated in each chapter as she told the stories that other mothers entrusted to her. It was interesting and a quick read that conveyed love, support, and yes, at times, tension.
